Does Georgia play in the Iron Bowl?

I can't imagine the backup holder gets a ton of reps.

James Burnip had never played in an American football game until this year. He certainly had never been a holder before.

Yep, Auburn has the best home cooking money can buy.
Bama receivers were getting mugged all night with no calls.

Auburn vs Georgia is the Deep South’s oldest rivalry. Georgia played at the same stadium Alabama did and had to play against Bo Nix. Won 34-10.

Will Reichard is as reliable a kicker we have had since Leigh Tiffin at Bama....I had no faith in any of his FG attempts yesterday just because it was in JHS

People forget that Adam Griffith was probably the most clutch player in 2015 at JHS. Five FGs including a 50 yarder and a 49 yarder in the 4th quarter to put Bama up 9. If Griffith isn't clutch in that game, we probably don't win.

“I’m just gonna Bama and come here and make an excuse why Auburn held us scoreless for three quarters and to 10 points for regulation”.

Auburn only gets up for this game. It's their super bowl.

Yeah, well, that didn't matter because he was on the sidelines watching all of that.

I don’t know about y’all but I was having PTSD flashbacks to 2019 when Reichert lined up for that OT FG.

Just because it’s the oldest doesn’t mean it’s the biggest. Auburn and Alabama get up for this game more than any other.

It really is the best in CFB. It's not really close. Everyone else just lays down for Bama usually. One thing you can count on is Auburn has a shot and will not be intimidated by Bama and their record no matter what.

Not sure why this is getting downvotes. It’s true, especially on the plains.

Reinhard has been great. But I just assumed we would likely miss because that is what we have done for the past 5 or so years before 2020.

You only think your game with Auburn matters to Auburn people. In comparison, you wouldn't think so if you were a part of the Iron Bowl. AU as an institution, team, and fanbase wants to win the Iron Bowl more than anything, and every time we play them in their place it shows. They ALWAYS play over their heads against us at home. Good team, bad team, doesn't matter. They're going to play their asses off against the Tide at their house. There is no place on earth for Alabama like playing @ AU, and there never will be.

Reichert is a different animal. I bet he kicks for 10+ years in the NFL.
