Have to have a coach thats able to work with 0 team chemistry and produce. That's why the old school coaches like Dabo are worthless now

There is a reason all major sports have contracts and rules around free agency. Meanwhile college sports …

That's pretty crazy. 1 returning starter.

It was obvious that the current system was broken two years ago when Saban retired. It’s always funny when it happens to someone else, but CFB has got to be completely revamped when it comes to NIL and the transfer portal.

The only real question is when do we reach the breaking point?

We don’t have a GM role and seem to be doing ok.

It was obvious years before that. Saban just isolated Alabama from having to experience it.

I hope it’s soon, I really do.
For the first time in my life, I prefer watching the NFL over college football. At least there are real rules in the pros that keep players contractually tied to a team unless they’re traded or retire. You know who the players are on teams in the NFL. It is the wild, wild west in CFB.

Another way to look at it is the hooerish nature of it ... the mercenary mentality. The lack of school loyalty and fan favoritism.
What happens when fans start screaming for the heads of the mercenaries rather than cheering for their loyalties and life long connections?
Once a (fill in the blank) ALWAYS a (fill in the blank)!
Welcome to the (fill in the blank) family!
(Fill in the blank) forever!
That's all gone if things continue down this path.
The collegiality of it all goes away.

Who is currently doing a better good of these things, UGA or UTa?

Instead of sulking and thinking that the world has gone to hell if you're Iowa State, why not take that same energy and say "let's be the next Indiana."

Yeah, a real bummer when everyone gets to pay their players.

I hope you’re right about that. My concern about having two megaconferences is that the regional aspect of CFB will be watered down, which is a shame. That (to me) is what made the game so much fun.
