I really think the reason SCar has gone to shite is Spurrier. His negativity and willingness to switch QBs at any time really hurts these guys playing for him. We all saw last night what can happen when you make a guy confident that it is his show, and will not be yanked save for injury.

I picked Iowa but would not be unhappy to see USC at least make some sort of a showing.

Oh, no doubt. But would they be playing this bad if he knew it was his game to win/lose? Playing QB for him has to be like walking a highwire in a thunderstorm.

SC is terrible. They need to go back to the ACC were they belong. They still have not adjusted their program to SEC level of play.
