I've been to West Virginia once about 4 years ago. I was there to bury my Sergeant, it was a full military honors funeral in Beckley. Although it was a bad time in my life I was amazed at how beautiful West Virginia is and how every person I met treated me and the guys in my squad like family. We may be from different states, have our own cultures, and our own stigmas, but we're all Americans. With that said Geaux Tigers and Whoop that mountaineer arse

well for example how the guys are always going off by themselves, which was the case for the entire movie, the way they interact, the way they had free reign over any situation. it is not a little unbelievable but entirely unbelievable. the is a fine example of hollywood not taking enough time or really not giving a shite how to accurately portray combat. EOD will not go out without at least an entire platoon supporting them, which is almost always the unit which finds the ied. then EOD proceeds to take 4 hrs figuring out how to action on the ordnance, then they drive their robot up to it to look at it for about 1hr, then finally they just blow it the frick up.

the most unrealistic war movie I've seen in a long time. taking a step back and looking at it from a civilians POV it is a very intense movie. looking at it as a service member who has served in combat and who has had to deal with EOD on numerous occasions I can tell you this movie is far from reality and is laughable at best.
