I'm legitimately shocked to not see UGA on this list. And speaking as a dude who came of football fan age in the 90's, to see neither Florida nor FSU is also jarring.

Shocked that the OP left out Jared Wilson, representing Georgia.

Kenny McIntosh will also get a ring for Seattle, but was sidelined due to an injury.

Jared Wilson started at left guard for the Patriots. Kenny McIntosh was on injured reserve for the Seahawks. Next year Georgia will tie Nebraska's all-time record for most consecutive years with at least one player in the Super Bowl at 26.

There will now be 8 former Georgia players with a national championship ring and a Super Bowl ring. Georgia's doing okay.

Im not 'jarred' by it.

Had buffalo won against New England, this would be a different list since there are 32 teams with completely different profiles.

Georgia is well represented all across the league.

Then you can add Matthew Stafford as the MVP.

And, Mike MacDonald, a Georgia grad, as Seattle's HC.

With all that talent, you would think LSU would have more SEC and National Championships in football. Guess, they wasted all that talent.

See, how that works.
