I don't think that's the case at all. The majority of those on here want him to be ready to go for 11/9. I know I do. I want to see both teams healthy for another epic battle.

Don’t care if Tua plays or doesn’t.
We got Big Butt Burrow and Cookie Monster and Brady Ball. And the nation rooting for us and our beloved QB and lovable head coach.
That said, we have another game first to worry about. My focus is on beating Auburn. Bama’s focus should be figuring out how to play a single Top25 team before the month of November. Come Saturday Oct 26th, LSU will have played 3 already.
After y’all get done quieting everyone down about the UT-Bama refs, maybe y’all can take a look at your future scheduling.

Personally, the way I feel about it is that this is football - injuries happen, it's part of the game. Whether your starting QB plays or not, that's up to the football gods.... nothing you or I can do about it.
Last I read is that he walked away, so I doubt he has a life threatening or any career threatening injury. Good for him.
