Ohio state doesnt scare me one bit. This team will destroy ohio state for joe. He means that much to them.
C'mon now... I die each week for LSU, but you jest, don't you... Either that or you've never seen them play or know nothing about them.

I read this in an Athletic article this morning and it makes perfect sense. The committee is tough to nail down but this year, according to the ranking this week, they are saying that good wins (Georgia vs. Florida and Notre Dame) matter more than good losses (Bama vs. LSU in comparison to Georgia vs. South Carolina). Again, this is a fickle process but it may mean that solid non-conference scheduling becomes even more important in the future.

Tigerman97 sorry, that makes too much sense. That objectivity prevents the biases and king makers to determine who gets in. Why would they want to do that?

Still think auburn runs the table and gets close as the first 2 loss team.
Have you seen our Offense?

Oh, and yes, for many reasons this will be "Joe's game", since he's a graduate of that school. It would be the game of the millenia if it came to fruition. A media's dream with incredible personal stories involved.

Yes and you can bet that those seniors wouldnt let joe lose to Ohio state.

The CFP should be determined by clear and definable objective goals. Like you must win a conference championship or be ranked in the top 4 as a non Power 5/Independent. Etc...
I agree here...

The easy thing to do is go to 6 teams include all 5 champions and the highest ranked non Power 5/Independent and give the top 2 teams a bye.
I don't agree here; I used to be a proponent of an 8 team play-off but I think 4 is the right number. If every conference champ gets in, then that diminishes the regular season. In 2012, Wisconsin won the Big 10 with an 8-5 record and I don't think that should qualify a team for the play-off. With 4 teams using clearly definable goals as you describe above, I think some of the regular season games and conference championship games would feel more like play-in/elimination games...

Do they though?
Most they've given up is 14 to Maryland last week without chase Young. Other than 21 to FAU, 15 of those points were garbage 4th quarter points

Last weeks points for Maryland were also garbage time points.

I'm trying to tell hard headed LSU fans...
We tried to tell you Alabama was going to get their asses beat, you wouldn't listen. Why should we listen to you? Apparently you know less than the average LSU fan - and that's saying something.

Dude, y'all won the game and deservedly so as LSU was the better team Saturday. But many LSU fans have been telling us Bama was gonna get their asses beat for the past 7 seasons...

And then it happened.
They weren't wrong, just early.
