From last year when we were trying to get a DT in the spring portal window, it seems that the NIL bag for quality guys in the Spring increases. My guess is that there is a smaller pool of quality players and more teams are desperate to fill needs. So, by all means, I hope we get these guys but I wonder if their NIL demands will be more than our staff thinks they are worth?
I saw this earlier today and was absolutely shocked. Would expect it to be California, New York or Illinois.

we're either going to suffer some now, or a whole lot more later.

And that’s the concern right there. How long will the suffering last? If it’s shorten and results show before 2026 then it’s all good. However, by and large, the percentage of the electorate that decide elections vote with their pocketbooks and finances in mind. It would be bad for the midterms if the suffering is still ongoing. The average voter won’t think 5-10 years into the future.

Yes and no. Many people thought the tariff thing was a negotiating tactic that wouldn’t actually be implemented. Kind of like making Mexico pay for the wall.

With that said, if it works, then alls well that ends well. However it is definitely a risk.

I think he could’ve taken Lacy’s spot as the #3 last year and definitely could’ve been a top 3 receiver this year. His move was always baffling to me. Maybe he was wanted the catches of a #1 receiver? TCU didn’t really provide that until this past year.

Thoughts On Musk’s Influence

I’m genuinely torn on Musk’s role. It’s obvious he calls a lot of the shots, especially in regards to bureaucratic stuff. And this isn’t uncommon, President’s can’t have oversight over everything and it’s why the success of administration is largely dependent on who they surround themselves with.

However, is Musk the right guy to be dramatically reshaping the federal government? Many of the moves are the same he did upon taking over Twitter.

However, Twitter has decreased in value by 84% since he took over.

Shouldn’t Trump consider someone else calling the shots? I don’t disagree with a reshaping of the federal government but rather who is doing it.

Then 2-3 days in the park hiking

Some of the best hiking I’ve ever done. We went in late June a few years ago and unfortunately they had a late snowfall at the higher elevations that made some hikes inaccessible (Highline Trail, Grinnel Glacier). However, Iceberg Lake is one of the most scenic hikes I’ve ever done.

LSU was among the schools he considered. He had built a strong rapport with Greg McMahon — the special teams coordinator back then — and even spoke with Cade York, the LSU kicker at the time. But Peyton never heard back from the school after coach Ed Orgeron was replaced by Brian Kelly after the 2021 season. "(Former special teams coordinator) Brian Polian was the only one who read his text and didn't respond back," Ross said.

Bama must be thrilled to have Jalen coming back next year to lead their team to glory.
Wtf isn’t this post on the Poli Board?

We actually have some young talent at Tackle with Davis and Adams and some others behind them.

Totally agree, I love Davis’s potential as a lockdown OT. Let the guys you recruited and developed cook if they show promise. On Brad Davis to decide if the developing talent > transfer talent.

Side note: I know Adams came in a G at times this season. Wonder if they would bump him inside and have a transfer OT and Davis on the outside?

The real question is how sustainable is it for Ole Miss to field a time primarily composed of upperclassmen transfers year after year. Their recruiting classes are typically a handful of decent players complemented by mostly transfers. It worked out somewhat this year but does this model work?
Key is great at contested catches down field. Would be perfect and a missing piece to our wr corps.

Trump's past associations and years of friendship with Epstein were always going to come back and haunt him.
Something is up with Trump though. He just stood there listening to music. They need to rest him for a few days. The guy is 78 and obviously needs to take a break from campaigning or he won’t last until the election.
