Galloway: Bama played LSU to within 5 points with a banged up Tua

Pollack: Minnesota dominated Penn St start to finish. (Score 31-26. Difference? 5 points)

If Bama and the talking heads want a "do over", so be it. I doubt Burrow, Clyde and Co. really care. Anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Nobody is stopping joe burrow. That is a fact. Those monsters from auburn were about the closest due to sheer strength and power. Nobody has the speed.

Neither of these people have any more or less say than you or I do when it comes to the selections. The quicker people realize these talking heads are paid to generate discussion and clicks the better off they'll be.

there won't be any do-over unless there's several 2-loss conference champions, which seems pretty unlikely.

The story lines are starting to take shape and I love it. Going to lay the wood to Ole Miss this weekend. And if we make it to the CFP championship game against Ohio State you can guarantee the team is going to be in a frenzy.

Crap dude. Your fan base is still screaming about 2011 and now you want to say "Anyone, anytime, anywhere."?

I mean, I get it. LSU would probably beat Alabama in a rematch...but what would happen if they beat you? Half your fan base would commit hari-kari.

Saban at half:

I don’t think you can blame it on Tua, I don’t think it has anything to do with his physical ability.

He was fine until his phantom limp at the end of the game.

You could tell he wanted Bama in so bad.

His opening line of the show was Bama played LSU to 5 points.

Not, LSU just went into Tuscaloosa and beat down mighty Bama.

The bias is obvious. Bama is turning into moral victory U.

I get it. Bama hasn't earned that spot. They get to sit and rest while LSU plays another game. They would essentially be getting a bye for being a loser. Not a single Top 25 win to date. They are the Hillary Clinton of CFB. "I'm Bama. I'm entitled!".

They certainly could win in a rematch, but at this point I don't care. This LSU team isn't worried. And in the reverse, if LSU beats Bama a 2nd time and boat races them like they were doing before they let up that would be 2 CFP beat downs and I don't think Nicky would recover from that.

If they want to call down the thunder, they've got it.

LSU's defense is a liability.
This is fact. Sure, Alabama's defense is even more of a liability.
But, I'm trying to tell hard headed LSU fans that Ohio State has the defense to back up the offense.
And I say this as I throw up in my mouth, because, sorry, not sorry, I don't like Ohio State

This is the problem with the entire "four best teams" mentality. There is no way to honestly and accurately define who those teams are and it will always be driven by subconscious bias. To bama's credit they have earned the right to affect subconscious bias.

The CFP should be determined by clear and definable objective goals. Like you must win a conference championship or be ranked in the top 4 as a non Power 5/Independent. Etc... You could still have a decision at 4 and 5 in this scenario but the objective goal would fix a majority of this nonsensical discussion. The easy thing to do is go to 6 teams include all 5 champions and the highest ranked non Power 5/Independent and give the top 2 teams a bye.

Objective criteria removes the possibility of human beings doing what human beings do...look stupid. Becoming National Champion isn't a mark of being the best, it's a mark of being the champion for any given season.

Agree

Still think auburn runs the table and gets close as the first 2 loss team.

And that's fair and you are being objective. We know all too well about what happens when you play an elite team and your defense isn't up to par. It isn't pretty.
