Partly explained by the fact that Georgia has been good in the era of 12 game regular seasons. The other teams' best seasons are spread over the century, including mostly 10 game regular seasons. A lot easier to go 10-2 than 10-0.

What I got from this is it is a lot easier to have a 10 win season in the SEC East. Auburn plays in the West, which has been more competitive top to bottom than the East.

Should say more about parity of college football because Auburn and Florida are top 15 on the all time front.

Auburn is a Top 20/Top 15 program of all time. One of the best in terms of money, facilities, football culture etc.

Florida was a historically low to mediocre football program before Spurrier. All 16 of those seasons are after 1991, and Spurrier and Meyer account for 12 of them.

For all of us that remember football before 2000 Florida and auburn have been so so most of their history and both down right sucked in the 70s. The 80s aubie got it together and the 90s Florida did but they both always tend to regress quickly.
The amazing stat is Florida didn’t officially win an sec title until 1991. Even if you count 1984 that’s still a pretty barren history.
