And consider this: Indiana certainly did not demolish their opponents in the few games they played against worthy teams, e.g., PSU (27-24), Iowa (20-15), and Oregon (30-20).

Should be a good game. Bama is battle tested.

Exactly. If Indy goes up by 17, it’s over. ;)

Really? Literally nothing supports this, they shouldn’t even have been part of the conversation. They’re a top 20 team.
Well they ‘re top 10 according to nearly all predictive models - SP+, FEI, F+, FPI,Sagarin , Massey plus they were ranked top 10 in AP and Coaches poll so I wouldn’t say nothing

I pick Bama to win that game straight up.
Eventually Indiana will fail in this playoff due to a lack of talent. It may not be against Bama, but they don't have enough blue chip players to win 3 games in a row against top competition.
So I'll pick Bama to beat them. If they win I'll pick Oregon to beat them. If they win again I'll pick whoever plays them to beat them.
They're ranked 72nd in the nation in team talent. They are not capable of winning a title. Bama is. Oregon is. UGA is. OSU is. Even Miami has enough talent. Indiana and Texas Tech... nope.

Beat teams in the top half of the B10: Ohio St, Oregon, Illinois & Iowa. Will show nation how a bunch of non-elite, low star players rip 4/5 players by playing superbly disciplined, unselfish, fundamentally sound football.
