In week one, Joey Football had more passing yards than the following big hyped up names:

Lanorris Sellers
Arch Manning
DJ Lagway
Gunner Stockton
Cade Klubnik

And ofcourse....

Nico I-Am-A-Leaver

But much more importantly than that, we moved very fast and high tempo again under his command. Massive upgrade at QB for us.

He eased a lot of worries in Big Orange Country. I know that.

I can't wait for the UGA game. I believe the UGA defense was pretty susceptible to a legit drop back passer last year and that's one of the reasons why Ole Miss gave them fits. Their DBs got exposed a few times last year actually. The SEC was down last year overall.

Nico certainly wasn't equipped to beat a team like UGA but Joey Aguilar is a legit drop back guy who can can improvise on his feet as well and can give those UGA DBS a long night potentially. Staley has legit separation abilities at WR along with Matthews as well.

It's not going to be an easy game at all for UGA in Neyland with dink and dunker Gunner leading them

A few of those " big hyped up names" may have played against slightly tougher defenses than the Syracuse Orange men.

I believe at home in Neyland, he will look much better than people expect. UGA doesn't have nearly that same aura of invincibility about them anymore.

I have my theories on why but I'll spare this board that for now. Kirby is a great coach but everyone assumes he's something close to Saban or something. His decline has already started though imo.

Off season arrest U is about to f#ck around and find out.

Tennessee fans have said this every year with Heupel and every year their QB’s have looked mediocre.

Our defense isn’t gonna be able to keep up with UGA unfortunately. Looking like 5 starters on defense are going to be out and that could only go up

He also had more passing yards than Nussmeier.

Also: who fricking cares. You Vol fans over hype more than any other fan base on here, and that's saying something. Maybe tap the breaks until after UGA?
