#1 Miami's home crowd this weekend:
Undefeated #9 UCLA's home crowd on a beautiful October day:
Stanford this week hosting a big night game against conference opponent NC State:
Ranked SMU hosted conference opponent Cal, they sure are excited for ACC ball this season:

Miami and UCLA are having tremendous seasons and they still can't draw a crowd.

SMU pic a bit suspect. No players on the field, appears the tarps are still down along the sidelines. Sure this wasn't taken 2-3 hours before kickoff?
The others, yeah.

that's actually not a bad crowd for Miami - noon kick too so most of their fans were still waiting on a bond hearing from a judge who was golfing all morning -
Standford shouldn't schedule friday night games unless De La Salle is playing 3 hours away from Bay area -

Hard to find photos from the game because apparently nobody gave a shite about it, but here's one during play where you can see that raucous crowd.

Neither schools have a fan base. Miami will only have thugs for the 1st half of their playoff games as most their fans will return to the parking lot and leave once they get exposed.
At least that was the case in Dallas when they last played LSU.
UCLA could kick a 64 yard field goal in the bottom of the 9th to win the Stanley Cup and Los Angeles will still be USC.

This is exactly why the other conferences can coast and the sec is truly different. When you can play on the road and only 30k fans show up its different that every sec venue (other than vandy) having 80k+ fans showing up and getting a true home field advantage.

People looking at those crowds must not pay attention to five thousand people in the stands for stupid bowl games. Which isn’t an anomaly anymore. 25 plus years of shitty attendance. You’d think the brain trusts would have done something by now. But nooo…

Miami needs a stadium on campus like Tulane has. About 35-40k seats. It probably wouldn’t sell out most of the time, but it would look full.

I’d be curious if any of these attendance ratings are tied to the prices of tickets and inflation.
Especially in California, unsure on Miami.
The Mississippi State game had some empty seats in the upper section.
The SEC definitely has the upper edge with ESPN and the SEC for sure regarding longevity.
