I wish I could fully describe the tussling that occurred after the annual Egg bowl in Jackson in the 70s and 80s. The state fans yelling on one side and swinging those damn cowbells while the Ole Miss fans tried to stab them with the Rebel flag pointy tips.
Good times and no one was ever seriously injured.
I've gone to every egg bowl since 1980, and the "State fans swinging cowbells as weapons" is the tried and true line of bullshite that's been spewed for as long as I can remember.
I have never, not even once, seen a mississippi state fan swing a cowbell at anyone (who didn't deserve it).

They sell em in the bookstore right across the street from the west side of the stadium. Go grab you some officially licensed merch.

Or for that matter, in virtually any shopping location in the city, including Kroger and Wal Mart.
Hell, they can mosey over to Lowe's and buy some black spray paint to customize their bell.
Anything they can do to contribute to the local economy would be greatly appreciated.
