There is no question that Kirby needs to make some changes, but damn man these last few years have been fun as a UGA fan. I remember when we went 8-4 every year and lost to Florida, Ut And Auburn. That is over. Due to Kirby.

Don’t think it would matter this offense can’t score enough to keep up with LSU or Clemson

UGA has 14 5-star players. More than any team in America.

Add Bama this year for us and I can understand how you feel.

It just seems that with all of the talent he’s recruiting, all of the chances in the SECCG, the playoffs; he could do more.

I like Kirby. He’s from LSU. I remember those days. Maybe it’s time to get the band back together in BR?

We will never win a NC with Smart as our HC. He just doesn't have the tough guy personality it takes to get respect from his players/get players to play hard for him. Our AD should offer Kirby a 2 million dollar job as our DC and Recruiting Coordinator and high a better HC.

If Florida has a bigger pulse, they’d have been here.

I give it a year for Mullen to undo Muschamp

NO!

And I wasn’t one that loved the hire.

I do love when people out perform my expectations, though!

He is a good coach. And until O wins the NCG, he hasn't done anything more than Kirby.

Other than beat his arse twice.

This is the first game in all of those where we were blown out. And frankly played Bama in 2017 for the Natty and 2018 for the SECCG closer than anyone ever expected - and were dogs in both games.

There’s no participation trophy but it’s not like he got embarrassed until today.

But they were all big games is what I’m saying.

I included all of that in the OP.

Georgia must have more 5 star recruits on it than any team in the country. They landed 7 a few or couple years ago and then 5 the year after that. I think Les Miles east is a good comparison. Wastes talent and runs an outdated offense.

The main thing holding Georgia back is they haven't moved to the modern spread offenses like LSU (finally), Bama, and everyone else has.

I was very happy that Georgia was running the ball when they could have shredded LSU through the air

Don’t think Kirby is making those calls, bro.
You think after an injury break Kirby doesn’t know what play’s going in, bro?

The dude seams to know how to put a defense together.

He always has done that and it is one of the main reasons he is on your sideline. There is no reason to think he is not going to keep pulling in talent, so he will eventually put the right staff together to get over the hump.

I said at an SEC school with similar talent to UGA. Kirby landed his first gig at a school that's loaded with in-state talent and has a perfect geographic location relative to recruiting.

I suspect that Kirby will be asking around and keeping an eye out for a passing game coordinator type like Joe Brady that could help install a new spread/RPO concept this summer. He may not make the move yet without discussion and finding the right choice but he isn't an idiot. He has seen what LSU was able to do, and has had to answer the questions about his offense every interview and press conference he's had before and after games. I'm sure he's well aware of the fact that his offensive system needs a revamp without losing the power identity of the UGA run game. I don't think it'll be long before UGA has a new system and starts really challenging for the SEC/national title every year. He also knows that the talent you have makes the transition much easier. Before the SEC championship game in his press conference, he mentioned that LSU was able to make the switch look so easy with Burrow playing QB and the talented wide receivers they have. As an LSU fan, I hope he sticks with the current scheme though. Lol
