Help my memory , LSU friends: Was Stanley Roberts (?) a more highly ranked recruit than Shaq?

Chris Jackson and Shaq were on the same team and they couldn't make it past the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. So ...
I mean, they were great individual players and all, but they wouldn't play well together as a TEAM.

So, you never played pickup basketball??? I guess they don't do that in alabama. And how do you know they wouldn't play together??? Big baby and Shaq would control the paint. Chris Jackson was a dominate shooter. The only liability would Proably be pistol Pete. With players athletic ability. It's been proven more and more. Rebounding And defense wins games

The third (Roberts) and 4th (Hammink) best players on the team played the same position as Shaq. The rest of the team was sub mediocre. If you swap Roberts with a good forward, that team would have made it to the finals.
This is the all time LSU basketball team. Few other programs could match that.
