They’ve torn down Jackson and want him removed from the twenty. My freshman year they removed the colonel. All these flowery articles in the DM and posts on facebook(College only at the time) about moving forward. Yet here we are twenty years later doing the same shite again

Just be like Georgia and thumb your nose at the politically correct crowd. When their state flag came under fire for the CSA battle emblem, they just quietly adopted the first national Confederate flag, slapped the state seal in the field of blue inside of the circle of stars and called it the new Georgia flag. Most SJW are too ignorant and uneducated to realize the joke that was played on them.

They didn't fool anyone with that compromise bullshite, many people in GA still want the pre 1954 State Flag
This is why we're arguing this bullshite when it should have been decided a Century ago, cowardly arse politicians that are scared of backlash from confederate sympathizers and cannot or will not simply allow right to prevail over wrong

Why should the confederate flag be a part of the state flag when we had a flag UNTIL the 1954 SCOTUS Decision prompted bigoted State Lawmakers to change it in defiance of a SCOTUS decision

Flag worship always struck me as strange, but measured national pride isn't a bad thing. Clinging onto the history of a failed rebel state that existed for five years and was put down with impunity is odd, though. None of you guys are Confederates, sorry

Maybe. I’ve ceased wondering about what can’t be canceled. I’m not paranoid about the flag. I haven’t cared about flags since the first grade when we learned how to fold one.
