No professional team at any level in the world would hire him as general manager.

No super bowls or even close for right at 30 years.

Cowboys fans are the biggest idiots in the world.

Not t a Cowboys fan, and I can’t stand Jerry Jones. You talking about the Micah Parsons trade?

But to be fair, they got two first round draft picks and Kenny Clark for him. So they could be better off in the long run.

They can't control who owns the team.

Jerry is an amazing man if you have ever heard him speak. He is also an amazing entrepreneur and the heart of the American spirit. What he is not, is a football gm. Running off your top player is moronic.

Without Jimmy Johnson, he would be just another obscure NFL team owner most people have never heard of.

At some if they boycotted going to games, buying merchandise, and stop watching them on TV the value would drop and Jones would have been forced to sell. The city of Dallas could have forced change to.

The worst part about it, he was asked point blank:

"If selling the team, guaranteed the Cowboys would win a Super Bowl, would you sell them?"

He said no. He's clearly not in it to win it.

His big screw up wasn't this it was giving Prescott that extension. As a Cowboy fan the guy just can't do what is needed late in playoff games. He is a stat padder with dump offs and can't make the longer throws in crunch time when you have to. Not even close to a top 5 QB in the NFL in reality.

I’m not arguing there but it’s not like they get to vote for team ownership or control.

The Cowboys don’t try to win. Their goal is to make people think that their mediocre players are superstars and extract maximum revenue from fans. They’re really good at that. Why win when you can make every regular season game a playoff hunt?

He just compared this move to trading Hershel Walker for all those draft picks years ago.

We had a couple of years recently we could have been a SuperBowl team if we actually had one of the better NFL QBs and not Prescott. He is the most overrated QB out there and absolutely blows chunks when the QB is needed late in playoff games.

The trade wasn’t even bad, Parsons contract is horrendous given he’s dogshit vs the run. It’s laughable he’s paid more than Myles Garrett

He was heavily involved with Arkansas hiring Chad Morris, so I don't have to imagine too hard

Cowboys got the better of the deal. All-Pro DT & two 1st round picks with the added benefit of not having to pay a ridiculous amount of money to Parsons.

Jones is awful at many things related to the Cowboys, but he did try to negotiate to make Parsons the highest paid non-QB. Chalk this one up to sheer greed.

When i was a kid i didnt realize what a dumb arse move it was for Jerry jones to fire Jimmy Johnson because they continued to win, if it was now i would write him off as an idiot and wait for the chosen owner, its not him, and cowboys will be a joke until he lets someone take over or sells the Cowboys
