He just said Vol fans don’t care about football. Why is that

Why didn’t I hear a peep from UT fans with baseball until this year? Was it because y’all haven’t been good or was there another reason?

Yes they did, because they didn't put in a bid to host.

They're a pretty good team.

UVA was a 3 seed. ODU, the team not playing, didn’t put in a bid

Because no one gave a frick about baseball? I don’t get this high horse argument trying to frame us as lesser fans. Football has an automatic residual fanbase because of its importance to southern culture. Baseball does not have the same type of built in fanbase. If we’re not good, no ones gonna care (although I think the investment we’re making in baseball Will
Begin to change that). Success generates excitement.

I’m not sure why you’re surprised that UT fans came out in droves to support a successful team, or why that is a bad thing. More fans = good. You have to grow the fanbase somehow And winning does it best.

What do Tennessee fans “give a frick about”? Sports you’re good at presently (I’ve already been informed your fan base doesn’t care about football)? Yet you’re upset I called you fair weather? Weird

LSU made a big deal out of beating Alabama's worst team in a decade.

one guy on the internet says he doesn’t care about football and you assume millions of others don’t? You’re kinda painting with a broad stroke don’t you think? Trying to paint the UT football fanbase as Fairweather after the decade plus we’ve had us laughable.

Certain sports sports don’t get a huge following unless they’re doing well, or have had a sting of good years to build on. It’s not unique to UT, it happens literally everywhere. You can call me a fairthweather baseball fan all
You want. It doesn’t offend me and I don’t care.

I don't recall hearing anything about 2019 Alabama being your worst team in a a decade until y'all introduced it as a coping mechanism after taking that loss.

I think I've found the perfect formula for causing triggers AND melts at the same time.

LSU fans when you don't immediately suck 2019 LSU's dick of imaginary greatness:

It's because they are very fair-weather, and have a tendency to project.

I was responding directly to a Tennessee fan who said Tennessee fans didn't care about football anymore. I started by saying that isn't true but said if it was, in fact, true, wouldn't that make him not a fan but a front-runner. I know Tennessee fans aren't fair weather. User Torbraydo was just trying to crawfish away from comments he made by pretending UT fans don't care about football anymore. It began with him, a UT fan, acting LSU fans are unique in rooting against Alabama in big games as if UT fans don't hate Alabama just as much, if not more, than LSU fans. I mean it's only Tennessee's biggest rival My first comment to him was "coming from a Tennessee fan this is gold." His response was "I don’t think there are enough VOLS that care about football for this to be the case, but I’ll take your word for it."

This may come as a surprise, but when Alabama fans post here, they do so for themselves.
