Watching their game with Tennessee:

The VOLS just wore their defense down with that powerful OL and Chandler + Gray, despite Mizzou LB Nick Bolton's best efforts. This is not what LSU's offense does. Their secondary wasn't tested much, but did drop an interception.

Connor Bazelak looks like a very promising pocket passer with decent mobility. Very poised, he even collected a mistimed snap and threw for a 1st down. He also threw for a first down from his own endzone. Unfortunately for him, their WRs weren't very good, but they might improve chemistry now that he's the starter. He could have a big game against LSU's young and inexperienced secondary.

Larry Rountree III is not just a great name he's a legit starting RB in the SEC, Badie is a good weapon as well.

Their kicker made a 51-yarder in brisk conditions.

I think they matchup better with LSU than they did with the VOLS. I think LSU wins but Mizzou will probably cover the 14 easily

Their QB won’t have time to throw. We’re not dropping 8 so they aren’t running on us. Our offense will make another leap towards greatness. LSU wins by 24.

Dude, don't. We are small. We drop passes. Roundtree is a good running back, and Knox is a decent receiver when he catches the ball, but we are small, we are not that strong.

Relax, be safe where you are at, I hope the storm is minimal. Don't worry about this.

Wait he’s still there? Did he start as freshman because I feel like he’s been there forever

No. Drew Lock was extremely good. Receivers were not. That is why we were average at best.

Missouri is the new Arkansas. You will handle them with ease.

Tell you what, cowboy, beat us in November and you can talk all the smack on us you wish, but until then, how about concentrating on your next game.

Don’t you do that

Bazelak is really good though. If our receivers could catch he’d be even better.

We might of had a decent team if our DL didn’t suck so bad, but it does. LSU covers unfortunately

Ya, had 703 yards as a TF, thats why he seems to have been around a long time.

There’s only one way Mizzou wins and that’s to be +2 in the turnover battle. Our DL is so bad. Bolton is a 1st rounder but he is having to shed blockers and make the tackle because the DL is being driven back from 2nd quarter on.

Odom dismantled our D-Line Zou reputation. Presuming your OL isn’t a joke and your QB doesn’t take unnecessary risks you are in good shape. That said I know nothing about your team but I’m sure you are deep.

I think it has the chance to be competitive, but it's tough to win games when your defensive line gets ZERO pressure. TN had zero negative running plays last week, which is almost impossible. They were never in 3rd and distance...Now I think TN has a very good OL and AL has a great OL, but still, Mizzou's DL has done nothing to show that they'll be able to consistently put pressure on a QB which makes everything on D so much more difficult.

On offense, if the receivers can stop dropping balls, Mizzou will put up some points. Thus far, they have not stopped dropping the ball, so who knows. I do think if Mizzou somehow got out to a lead Rountree has the ability to put a team on his back and grind out yards and clock, but I'd still be really surprised if Mizzou won this one.

While it's nice to be recognized for the positives we have (and all you list are legit and the ones that will carry to future years gives me some hope and excitement for the future), there is just too much of a talent gap overall for you to lose much sleep over this game.

I'd like to win a few this year to show some progress, but it ain't gonna be LSU.

Well, thanks for the respect, but don't worry, really. We're 3+ years away from being relevant again.

I don’t think they have a single player on their D Line over 260lbs. Their receivers and DBs suck. Their O line is meh.

They will be fighting Vanderbilt at the bottom of the league this year
