they had one actual TD drive. the other two were off turnovers. again had you watched the game you wouldve realized LSU's defense straight up dominated Florida all night long.

I just looked it up. The two drives for TDs caused by turnovers were 16 and 17 yard drives.

Couldn't blow out ULL last year, but I think we did pretty well against Bama and know we did great against AU.

I am a firm believer that Miles plays down to the competition in games like that.

He already admitted he hasn't watched LSU. Don't waste your time.

Ok, so they gave up what? 22 to florida cause one was a return? Miss State held them to 7, we held them to 6.

They had TD drives of 16,17, and 80 yards.

Now do you see?

also it is worth noting lsu even stopped florida on one of those short drives. but then the officials decided to call a pass interference on a ball thrown 10 yards out of bounds and 10 feet over the receivers head. that put the ball at the 2.

I heard someone say that we have only scored more than 50 points twice under Miles. We just aren't a team that will run up the score.

Well shite, you guys forgot to tell us that turnovers and special teams don't count.

Well, hell....guess this is one of those games where everybody gets the ball on the 20 and has to drive to score. Good to know.

And the year before... And the year before... Y'all just aren't on LSU's level as of late. Get over it.

Yea I am still using it, because your team has NOT improved outside the QB and we have the athletes and depth to keep him contained.

Are you going to be able to watch this game?

Yes, and maybe that's part of it, I haven't been able to watch much of LSU this year.

And yet, you are not "sold" on their defense yet?

Read the thread title dumbass. We are defending our defense, not saying that all aspects of the game aren't a factor. Geeez.

The topic is defense, not special teams. Keep up.

Points can always be deceiving based on several factors. Looking more closely at the boxscores this is what Florida's offense did against each defense.

Alabama
Yards - 281
YPP - 4.5
First Downs - 17

LSU
Yards - 243
YPP - 4.3
First Downs - 12

Miss. State
Yards - 361
YPP - 4.9
First Downs - 20

And I'm not sold on Auburn's ability to deliver a college education.

It's a pretty simple equation:
But you oversimplify:

we either punt, turn it over

or kick a field goal.
Only if we get a short field to start. . .ie already in FG range.
