don't you even dare complain. the fact still remains that while we share two mediocre franchises you still have that script A to look forward to in the fall.
I paid my dues. I was in school for the end of the Shula years.

And I say that knowing I've probably been on more D-1 football sidelines due to what I used to do then a lot of the posters on this board. Even as a chick.
Doing what? Keeping your team rejuvenated with samiches?
JK, I love you, don't take that offensively.

That's just it, I wasn't playing. I was getting paid to sit there and wait for someone to get hurt.

I like Philly more than Pittsburgh. I like your cheesesteaks.

Yeah, that would be dreadful.
You need to get out and play. It's a really challenging game that drives you to want to be better. Addicting.

A lot of these sports "experts" have no clue what football practice consists of. I saw that in the thread a while back where someone asked how many people actually played football.
Oh I used to go to school with people that were "experts" at football. One dip shite was convinced that Delta State and Valley could beat Ole Miss, saying that they had more speed and speed was all that they needed to win. I stood there in disbelief listening to his argument.

yea, i hate when atlanta lets down the falcons or braves, although they let us down far more, but screw the hawks. and i was happy to see the thrashers leave. less time on my radio, now if we could purge the hawks we could focus all our sad's city hope on 2 franchises that actually matter a little.
If I could afford it, I'd have season tickets to all of them just because I love sports.
I am sad that the Thrashers left though. I blame it on the fricking ownership. Atlanta Spirit LLC is incompetent.
How do you feel about the Dream?

I have always wanted to learn to play golf. I need someone that has a lot of patience to teach me though. I get pissed if I'm not good at something immediately. It is a hobby I want to pick up one day though.

Thrashers games were the shite.

Do you have good hand eye coordination?
If you do you'll pick up golf well.

You did some athletic training, didn't you?
I did. Actually worked with John L. Smith and Petrino's brother as well as some guys who coach in the NFL now.

It's always funny to see people talk about what goes on in a program in general and just have no clue whatsoever.

I've been around the game for a long time. I've never seen anyone that picked up a club, and was immediately good at Golf. There has been some people I've been around that picked up a club, and had natural ability, but it still took time for them to gain a complete skill set.
Golf definitely takes patience, no matter how good you're.
If you ever come down to Houston, and have some time to spare, I'll take you out to the club.

Well if you can find the right slot for your swing you'll do fine. We're you slap hitter? That should help with irons
