Come on dude. You already have one thread started on the subject. Now you think it is necessary to have two?

Excuses, excuses, excuses. The lazy man's tool kit for what you can't do otherwise.

Almost unanimous against your idea in this thread, too.

Maybe you should start another one. That'll go better than this one did.

This is fantastic lol. OP is retarded. I’m from Louisiana and want no part of the northern half of my home state.

Not very representative of a South EASTERN conference

New Orleans has a very long association with the SEC because of the Sugar Bowl.

Probably a big reason why the SECCG was given to first Birmingham and then Atlanta as it would have been silly to go to New Orleans twice in a month.

I think Atlanta is fine. The stadium there is world class. The city itself is adequate for stuff to do and it is basically the New York of the Southeast. Whatever Atlanta's shortcomings may be, it has served the SEC well as a championship host site. Why change that because some of you think it's an unfair advantage for some teams?

I love the Superdome but it is as old as I am. It is more than adequate but the main attraction with NOLA is the city, which hurricanes and politicians have yet to totally ruin but not for lack of trying.

On the topic of host sites that may be unfair, isn't having the CFP in the Superdome unfair when LSU is in the game? Do we really want to open that can of worms?

Things are fine the way they are.

frick No to Arlington for the SECCG. Let the Pigs and Aggy play their Super Bowl there.

I have no doubt Texas will try to move the game but they are one of 16 now and will soon enough figure out they don't hold anywhere near the same sway in the SEC.

Keep the SECCG in Atlanta, move the HQ to Nashville

Move it to Memphis and put it in the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid.

Centrally located to all and badass.

Shreveport would be neutral.

Coach Jim B would have been down for that.

The SEC West in 2024 now has far more people than the SEC East (not counting South Florida for UF as it doesn't belong to be counted).

The center of population for the whole conference is highly likely somewhere near Shreveport in 2024. The geographic center is probably between Monroe/Jackson now. Let's get some North Louisiana citizens running the offices and see how Bama reacts when LSU starts a run with BK. "Ope HQ called in to get that call reversed."

None of this matters.

Atlanta is a very safe - believe it or not, Chicago is a very safe city

If you are going to be in Atlanta for a football game then you won’t be close to the bad parts of South Atlanta unless you are wanting to buy drugs or frick a prostitute.
