The SEC will be held in contempt.

I understand.
The man has something to say.
I totally respect that in a day and age where most men will just take the bag.

LOL this. It's common knowledge Saban and all other major programs compensated players. To deny it shows ignorance and low-IQ.
Not one member of the SEC has a "moral" leg to stand on when casting stones at LSU. And, really, is that how we want our conference to be run? Whose morals do we enforce, and how? What if the perspective of those morals change (it used to be "moral" to think that women couldn't vote, that blacks could be slaves, that the world was flat, and that Ole Miss would be a relevant football program...)
Kidding aside, morals have a place in society, but not in business relationships and contractual obligations. The only place "morals" has in that is if society decides they don't like what those businesses (the SEC, for example) are doing and decide to vote with their wallets. A business can decide to embrace a moral position if it chooses, but that's a slippery slope to navigate because that can change on a whim.

Everyone wants to say it’s a 1st amendment issue, but that is gone due to Rev sharing and TV contracts.
Those that say, “the sec can’t be challenged and if they make a rule you can’t encourage anyone to sue” ignored all the other lawsuits.
Those that say LSU isn’t forced to be in the SEC and can kick rocks with pro players elsewhere have no proof any pro player ever was rostered.
The entire SEC suit hinges on a judge looking at an anonymous source who told a reporter LSU did it. Their next best evidence is Lane calling a coach who never called him back (no message was left). After that it’s taking lanes jab at Dabo and instead of disciplining him according to SEC bylaws they hit the school with LOIC allegations.
Maybe they have more evidence, but they haven’t made it publicly available.
Hearsay is their best evidence and a Lane Kiffin joke is the supporting evidence.
There is a great post about this on tiger rag.
I think half the fans are just trolling LSU on this issue.
I do think that Tennessee’s Chancellor Plowhard shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a sports decision. None of them should be.
This should be athletic Directors.

Said coach also cleared up that Lane did not call him.

Thank you for correcting me.
Again Karens should not make sports decisions.
