You sound like a gigantic pussy. There’s millions of people who visit Fort Worth yearly who also find it fun. Sorry you’re a bitch bud.

AMEN!
No whiny-arse SEC bureaucrats, bitching SEC teams that despise our success, AND we get to keep all our money!

Lubbock

Have you ever been there? It's a High School stadium with no tailgating and the town is even worse.

Red River division of the SEC/B12 super-conference.

24 teams, 4 divisions. Basically copy the NFL scheduling format.

The other existing conferences suck so it would have to be a totally new conference.

I'm a pussy? You're melting because someone considered Fort Worth, Texas less than "bad arse".

ACC in football because if your team has a pulse, they can beat everybody but Clem"P"son to get in the playoff. In addition, at the end of the year your team will be well rested and healthy for the most part after playing a cupcake schedule.

B12s level of distinction thanks to Texas would be a nonstarter. B10 with equal sharing is the only other place. Annual games with Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin would be fun.

Wouldn’t be the worst. As long as we still get to see our old foes from the sec

What is fun about Illinois and Nebraska? Just because the huskers were fun in the 90’s doesn’t mean they are now. That’s like an sec team being excited to play Tennessee because they used to be good.

Big 10 due to Geography.

Also Madison is one of my favorite college towns anywhere

UF would be a good fit if not for distance. Money is great. Good conference channel. They have strong all around sports programs and of course the academics.

Yea, sorry, Alabama Football and South Carolina Football as independents would...........not be the same thing.

Then go ahead and step out big boy...

I've got two words for you. Conference money.

The simple fact is, you'd be throwing away a lot with conference revenue sharing and TV (SEC Network) money. Think about how much money you'd lose from the SECCG alone.

It's telling to see the arrogance of Alabama fans here thinking that they could make it on their own without the support of the conference and all that it brings to the table....

(ETA: Of course bama could "Make it on their own" if they went independent. However, the path is much, much easier within a conference.)
