Correct, these are the rules. Which LSU has not broken by NOT rostering RJ Luis.
However, Ole Miss, an SEC program has rostered a guard in Corey Stephenson who signed an exhibition 10 contract with the Detroit Pistons and they’re not being threatened. What’s the difference?

Is tpear as innocent as a church mouse too?
Sounds like there has been a lot of "pushing the envelope".
Now you are experiencing what they call pushing back.

Can you point to any Lane Kiffin interview to support this?
Everything I have heard and read says otherwise. In fact there isn’t one name attached to say otherwise.
This all started off “an anonymous insider” from a sports article. Nothing more.
Women and smooth brain men read shock headlines and fall for the click bait.

Interview?
No
Lane was ready to roster 2 players that had been in an NFL camp - then the shitstorm came, complete with threats and actual lawsuits
Lane decided not to roster the players
I have no clue what went on behind the scenes (and neither do you)
When LSU backed down and did not roster those players, that should have been the end of this nonsense
Unless, there is a hell of a lot more that we don’t know about

You.mean like everyone else suing the ncaa for eligibility? Or is it just because it was lsu? Who pushed the envelope first? Bama? Olemiss?
Bama played a pro player for 5 games in basketball. Ole miss has a 20th yr qb bc of a toenail sprain.

LSU should not and will not be kicked out of the SEC, however, the legal precedent for self governance by the conference needs to be set and that is the goal here. That is the first step to ditching the NCAA and breaking away. If that fails, then there will be no way to break away and conference rules will be easily overtaken by local courts. It will truly be the wild west.

Sankey is doing what the presidents are telling him to do. He’s their employee.

Apparently Tennessee's liberal count president is pulling the strings. Sankey is her little bitch.

You know what lsu should do?
Cry more.
Cry more.

I don't know why so many are hung up on Sankey. If he were really going rogue and trying to kick out LSU on his own, he would have been fired yesterday
