If you think Muss at Arkansas is annoying now, you better buckle up.
He has ALREADY done more in his first 3 seasons than either Eddie Sutton or Nolan Richardson did in their first 3 seasons.
And he has the #2 recruiting class in America signed for next year.
And he MIGHT even add one more 5 star to that!
Gonna be a whole lot of teeth-grinding and high blood pressure for those annoyed by Muss right now!

He is a solid solid coach. He has taken this team to Sweet 16 and they have some flaws for sure. They don’t look that good but they continue to win games.

Yeah he didn't have the talent to get this far this year.

You never have to worry about how much we really want to win with Muss in charge. That was a constant issue with Mike.

I get that you want this to be a boast thread...
But until Muss gets to TWO national championship games and wins both of them, he has NOTHING to be compared to the GREAT Nolan Richardson.
Nolan lost more games than he won his first two seasons. and a few years later was in three final fours and back to back national championship games.

I don't really understand this post. Nolan took a while to get up to speed.
Musselman is ahead of where Nolan was at this point in his career.

I’ll say this. John McDonnell is the only Arkansas coach to ever have the passion for winning that Ive seen from Muss. Nolan was great but he was content once he won. Musselman has that unhealthy, Nick Saban type of drive that is uncommon.

There's a facebook meme going around suggesting as much. Pointing out that Muss won 70 games in his first 3 years to just 52 for Nolan.
I'm a Muss fan. But I'm not jumping on the "Better than Nolan" bandwagon until he gets the program to the same heights that Nolan got it to.

That 93-94 title team of Nolan lost 3 games by a total of like 10’points.

To say he's better than Noland because of some perceived "passion for winning", and then comparing him to two of the three GREATEST dynasty coaches in all college sports history is a bit much.
