You aren't a real baseball school and/or you are poor.

Turf field is one thing. Turf infield instead of dirt is ridiculous.

When did TN win multiple NCs?

I only see 4 trips to Omaha (two since 2000)

Not a knock, but I've never understood how Kentucky, the Blue Grass State, plays both football and baseball on artificial turf.

Doesn’t Oregon State play on a fake grass field?

An exception can be made for schools in cold climates... gotta somehow keep the field playable in February

But I agree, no excuse to have turf down here.

UK tried every species of “cold weather” grasses. The Ag Dept even tried creating one for our weather. Mud bowls persisted. With the artificial turf, we can now differentiate our players from the opposition simply using color. It’s wonderful.

It's ridiculous that Texas has turf for baseball and football. Should be grass.
