Family Tradition ... Tennessee. Was raised to be a UT fan, Dad was going there before signing with Arkansas. All my Dad's side of the family are UT fans. I quit cheering for them (in football) under Fat Phil.
Mom's side are all either A&M or UTa or Baylor fans. I refuse to ever pull for UTa. Even my family who are UTa people are obnoxious when it comes to UTa. When Mack was there I was a little softer about that. I've always liked Mack, he and I had the same Godfather (Coach John Cobb).
Coach Dietzel taught me to be a big LSU fan. He loved his Tigers. One of the finest men I have ever known. I attended his funeral. The man lived an absolutely exemplary life.
I was good friends with Billy Brewer (thanks to Dad), fished with his brothers Bobby and Red and him many times during my years living in Olive Branch (Maywood) and I attended a lot of games in Oxford ... was there in the seats for the Chucky Mullins game. Always had great seats thanks to Coach so I became an Ole Miss Rebel fan. I attended Coach Brewer's funeral. He was a good man.
I knew Frank Broyles personally, have always followed Arkansas closely, especially when Coach Holtz was there. Coach Broyles had me jump-in the football for the Arkansas vs Texas game in '88 I think it was ... '87 or '88, somewhere around there. It was in Little Rock and I remember Texas winning 16-14. Those Arkansas vs Texas games were something back in the day. Matter of fact the first time I ever attended a game in Fayetteville was in '69, #1 vs #2, they called it The Game of the Century. Coach Broyles gave my Dad two great tickets.
I thought the world of Coach Dooley. Didn't know him all that well but he always accommodated me, always made himself available to do the show with Coach Carlen and he during Georgia game weeks. Coach Dooley was a class act but I never could pull for UGA given they were a border rival of sorts. Although, I take that back, whenever they played the sheep humping sister bangers we would pull for Georgia.
MSU sometimes, Auburn and Alabama sometimes, Florida sometimes. Mizzou sometimes, A&M ... less-so with Jimbo. Kentucky sometimes, all depends on the standings and order of finish heading down the stretch.
I cheer for plenty of fellow SEC schools ... some more than others. I think the older you are, the longer you survive, the more you do ... but I'll never pull for UTa ... unless they're playing the Taliban or someone like that.
That's tl/dr but sitting here drinking Blanton's and reminiscing on a rainy day ... that's the only way I could answer the question. I cheer for quite a few other programs when they're not playing my Gamecocks. I watch a lot of other games.

Don’t like my options. I guess it’d be South Carolina.
Combination of being the next closest school to where I grew up and hating them less than any of the other surrounding teams (Aub, Bama, Tenn, UF)

My top 5 in no particular order:
--LSU
--Arkansas
--Ole Miss
--Missouri/Kentucky/South Carolina/Miss State/Texas A&M/Oklahoma (tie)
Dead last: Texas & Florida....in that order.

You realize those signs are for people who have come to stay at a hotel in Missouri, right?

Arkansas
Georgia/LSU
Note: Oklahoma shoots into a tie with Arkansas soon

Probably Georgia unfortunately due to proximity and mutual dislike of Clemson. Auburn potentially as well.

Arkansas. Lots of alums in the family. Fayetteville is great. I wouldn’t even have to adjust to depressing 6-6 seasons.
Edit: If OU is included, they get the nod.

There’s also a sign telling locals within a 50 mile radius to pay a $100 deposit because they’re so tired of the locals coming in and fricking up everything

Same with half of my family. One side all Mizzou the other are Arkansas. Makes Thanksgiving more fun after the move to the SEC.

East - South Carolina (Columbia forever)
West - Arkansas (they are Missouri but with no pro sports).
West if I could ever root for a blue blood type - LSU. Always liked Cajun food and culture.

I've always been a big LSU fan. But, honestly, I can pull for just about any SEC school except UTk.
