Pigs bring zero to the table in revenue. Worst TV markets in the conf. Never should have let them in. Bring nothing in football.

Plus, a few SEC schools have long-standing rivalries with ACC schools. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are mentioned in Alabama's fight song.

That's because until 1967 GT was in the SEC and one of the elite at that. They had huge rivalries with Bama and Tennessee that Georgia never had at the time. I'd like to see them come back, but I don't see it frankly; not in this day and age. It's CCP Tech these days, so eff 'em.

Ok then. Doesn't make a difference to me as a UGA fan, we play them every year anyway. But what exactly are we, as a conference, trying to accomplish in this exercise, and how does GT further that e-cause?

Comes:

Clemson -great conference rivalry for USCe

Louisville -great conference rivalry for UK

FSU - great conference rivalry for UF

Auburn clone - 'cause beating them once a year just ain't enough.

Goes:

Vandy - obvious reasons

Tennessee - Rocky Top and hillbilly fans. Plus that god-awful orange

Missouri - just never connected with rest of the league

aTm - (see Missouri) but I appreciate what they did to Bama

Replace Mizzou with FSU. Because they'll eventually be good again and will have a cakewalk every year in the ACC. Again.

No way the UNC shitheels or NC State come to the SEC. They are part of the heart and soul of ACC. Maybe Clemson, but since they are a charter member I doubt that too.

Go back to 10 team league of yore.

makes most sense.

Old sec
Old ACC
Old big 10
Old big east
Old pac 10
Old swc
Old big8.

Each with a conf championship game and ad one d1-aa at large and you have a good playoff.

Make the Sec champ play an easy d1-as champ.
ACC vs big east
Big 10 vs pac10
Big 8 vs an easy swc team.

Gotta have easy playoffs right?

You can’t kick Tennessee out. Too much history and contribution to the legacy. Charter members have tenure.

Legitimately, Vandy and Missouri don't belong culturally. The rest can stay.

Vandy is in fricking Nashville and is one of the original SEC members. Gtfo with your brain dead nonsense.

Mizzou is a little weird, but Missouri is closer to the southeast culturally than Texas.

I’d rather them than either Texas school. They at least have a little rivalry with Arkansas going.
