like having A&M. It'll be a testament to the conference if we can turn A&M into a program of note that can contend sometimes, like we did with Arkansas.

I would replace Mizzou, A&M, Arkansas, and USCe with no one. Just kick them to the curb and go back to pre-1992.

Drop these:
Mizzou
Kentucky
One of the Miss schools

Add these:
UNC
Duke (only if also getting UNC)
Clemson
Ga Tech

Southern Miss for Mizzou-great location, easy access to a lot of fans to travel, should have been in way back when. You could also make a case for GA Tech. I'd like to have them over A&M. Make the SEC truly the SOUTHEAST again.

Do not want. I guess I'd just keep it as is. I don't see any reason for the SEC to expand. Hell, I liked the previous set up just as well, but the two we got are about as good a fit as there is.

My answer is replace Mississippi State with Colorado. I just don't care about them and Colorado would be a much better road trip.

Colorado would be a great road trip from the Southeast.

Crap like this lends credence to a century's worth of Aggie jokes.

I agree with you on that. Virginia is the best in Virginia though.

UVA is one the best institutions in the country.

Would be a phenomenal add.

Would like to drop Mizzou for UVA.

The NC schools are never going to choose not to be in the same conference, due
to the basketball rivalries.
You'd have to offer unc, duke, and nc
state at least, ma
ybe wake too.

I do think 4
ACC schools in
NC kind
of dilutes the talent level of all of them in football. Never understood wh
y small schools like Duke and Wake want t
o be in
a conference with big schools
in
athletics because
most years they are going
to be the
doorma
t of the league, at least in football.

Never thought I see even one LSU fans suggest adding Clemson, but two in a row. Listening to LSU fans, you would have thought Clemson was Wake forest or worse when LSU was matched up with CLemson in the bowl game 2 years ago.

correction, UVA, along with UNC, has some of the best marketing in the country. They aren't teaching anything that isn't taught elsewhere just as well. If UVA wasn't Thomas Jefferson's university you probababl
y never hear about it.

I can't see those two schools or Duke or G Tech wanting to go to SEC, because they see themselves asa top notch academic schools and generally SEC schools are not seen that way.

These are the ten teams that founded the SEC (yeah, I'm not including the three that left):

Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
LSU
Ole Miss
MSU
Tennessee
Vanderbilt

None of these teams are going anywhere unless they choose to do so...you late-comers on the other hand are easily replaceable.
