I like the second part. The first part doesn't make too much sense as this person arrived in Baton Rouge over a century after the program started (107 yrs.)
He also lost less than 3 games only one time in his miniscule 5 year tenure. Miles, McClendon, Arnsparger, Dietzel and many other previous LSU coaches did a lot better.
It must be noted that there are several figures in Louisiana State football lore who are much more revered: Doc Fenton, Abe Mickal, Steve Van Buren, Gaynell Tinsley, Tommy Casanova, Bert Jones, Y.A. Tittle, Paul Dietzel, Billy Cannon, Jimmy Taylor, Charlie McClendon, Jerry Stovall,
even Ryan Perrilloux.......

Our stadium was named by our best coach so no need to rename it.
And Tiger stadium should only be renamed if the United States is ever conquered by a foreign power.

Dont think I would ever want to change BDS's name. But a nickname would be cool.
I have said multiple times, since all the renovations that is no longer a football stadium, its a football palace.
So, my nickname would be: The Palace
