I actually put Glendale ahead of Miami also. Mostly due to the venue. I am mostly commenting on the appeal of the trip in comparing Miami to NOLA since I have been to NOLA many many times and live in south florida.

Somebody build a big arse Cowboys Stadium in Vegas and that'd be my pick!

Sure you cannot walk to the stadium.
I think that's the point. Both in NOLA and Glendale you will be able to go to bars and then walk to the game and vice-versa.
Both in Miami and Pasadena though there is plenty of room to tailgate. I imagine there would be plenty of space in Glendale too just looking at the aerial pictures.
I have been to every stadium except for Glendale, and I think the more I think about it Miami and NOLA are 1a and 1b. Like I said Pasadena and LA are a one time thing.

My picks are as follows:
1. Pasadena (Sun, Awesome Weather, Tradition, History, awesome scenery, beaches, etc)
2. Miami (Sun, nice warm weather, south beach, night life, etc)
3. New Orleans (French Quarter, Close promimity to everything, awesome restaurants)
4. Glendale (Golf Courses and not much else haha)
Remember about 60% of the SuperBowls have been played in Miami, New Orleans, and LA.

I really enjoyed New Orleans, but wasn't a huge fan of the Superdome. I'd prefer an outdoor setting like the Rose Bowl.

If the Superdome is the only location that has a legit party atmosphere in easy walking distance from the stadium and hotels then it is definitely NOLA.
The great thing about the Superdome is there is cheap food/drink/bars within such an easy walk in the quarter.
I went for the 2008 BCSNC and it was badass.
In comparison going to the SECCG sucked because the Georgia Dome wasn't close to all the bars.

New Orleans.
I have friends who didn't realize how spoiled they were with the setup and location of the superdome until they went to the Super Bowl in Miami. Everything being in one place is huge for an event like that. In New Orleans everyone goes to the same place and it truly feels like an event for the whole weekend. All those other places is sight seeing and one day of tailgating.
And the big thing to me is after you win, what city in the country offers what the Superdome does? You walk for ten minutes and your in the middle of the party. Its perfect. Everywhere else you deal with traffic, or a shuttle bus or something and its very anticlimactic IMO. Its those proximity things that make gamedays on all of the SEC campuses so great, and its what makes big events in the Superdome second to none.

I've never been to glendale, but I really enjoyed Miami when I went.
New Orleans would be awesome too, but I can go there pretty much anytime I want to.

I've been to Nawlins plenty of times, the uniqueness of LA/Pasadena/Pacific Coast after going there is the clear choice in my mind. NOLA is easily number two. Miami is a distant third followed by Glendale which is somewhere slightly ahead of Bismark, SD.
What the hell did we not do? It was LA man, it was the greatest week of my life. Look, I'm as simple, southern man as at gets, but there was just no way to describe that week. I've been around,(Europe, Mexico, Australia, most places in the US, etc) I'm not the Wal-Marks fan who has never left Alabama
but being out in LA/Pasadena/Hollywood/Malibu/Santa Monica and seeing all that was surreal, I can't describe its awesomeness. Don't even get me started on the chillbumps I still get just thinking about Alabama and Texas playing in the Rose Bowl, the most historic college football landmark on the planet. It was simply the greatest experience of my life.

I wish the BCSNCG was closer to the 1st so you could celebrate New Years in the city you went to. I went to the Sugar in '04 and spent New Years on Bourbon Street and had a blast. I know this will never happen though.

I know everyone always talks about the money being the reason for spreading these games out, but these bowl schedules are ridiculous. Let's put a ton of games overlapping on NYE and NYD then have random BCS ones and over 9 days before the national championship is played. Oh and make it on a Monday night. NFL playing Sat and Sun are my only thoughts.

Atlanta...I would need no flight nor hotel and could take MARTA...its Smarta!!

Marta to the dome for the SEC Championship was perfect. I am shocked Chick-fil-a isn't vying for a BCS game. They are throwing money at college football left and right.

The Atlanta group that puts on the Chik-Fil-A bowl and the kickoff games have really got their shite together. They run one well-oiled and efficient machine, and it shows. They should really move up in the pecking order, IMHO.
