Dabo - just because half the fan base despises him
Butch - intern to HC. True underdog story
Deion - watching that fanbase react to him would be hilarious

1. Me
2. My uncle Billy
3. My best friend Doug
I'd be guaranteed a taste of the millions, no matter what, if that was the list.

I don't know shite about coaching but I'll damn sure take several million a year to give it a shot.

If the goal is to be intentionally bad, he shouldn't be on the list.
He has the potential to be a GREAT coach. I highly doubt it, but its there.
If you're going for a bad list, put some real stinkers like Dooley and Butch in all 3 spots

I thought about this one earlier.. he is one of the few who could handle the expectations and he has always been one of the best recruiters on the planet.. he would actually be a great transition coach imo
eta: Bring on Schumann as DC and coach in waiting

I don't desire to see Alabama suffer just because they've been great for so long. This thing keeps popping up on the internets that their next coach needs to "have experience in the South" - whatever that means and I haven't seen a justification for it or explanation. Their next coach needs to be someone that can handle what their program has become, and expectations that come along with it. But if they "need" some southern gentleman or whatever - Mack Brown would do just fine. He can recruit, build, coach, and handle boosters.
The other two are guys I think have some positives to them, can coach ball and could stop the bleeding. You saw what A&M went through with Jimbo and that search, ending up with Elko - and it's a bad look for that program. Alabama needs to get this done in less than 72 hours and not have it look like their top choices all turned them down, get some stability and someone who can coach ball.

Based on what? He would definitely be the loudest coach in history, but what has he proven as a HC to even sniff Bama?

The obvious choice for them is Bill O'Brien...he already has Pro head coaching experience and has been at bama already. Go get him.
