Against a lot of lesser teams. Not like they played in the SEC for those 900 games

2006 Rose Bowl. Keith Jackson's final game. A record auidence and Vince Young.

What s uprise, two of the biggest states in the USA playing against each other.

If you think Texas is a blue blood then the Bumbles should be one as well astray have 4 MNC's with 4 different coaches in 4 different eras. Clearly a much harder thing to do.

Vanderbilt football is 8-3-1 all time vs Texas. Auburn has a better winning percentage against Vanderbilt than Texas does.

Look, Michigan has not been relevant in ages but lots of folks live in Michigan and they have eyeballs to watch TV so they get unwarranted media hype. It is what it is, you really think OU = Utx?

Trying to control the narrative on a college football message board doesn't change the situation at hand.
You don't reach a large enough auidence.
Your obsession with Texas on here makes you look like a bunch of retards.
Makes the SEC look bad. Bringing you in is going to eventually hurt the image of the SEC.

Florida dominates Florida St
Kentucky dominates Louisville
UGA dominates GA Tech.

Clemson is turning the tables on UofSC now.

If you played on TV from the early 50's to the late 70's you you had that dictator at the NCAA to tank for it. CFA never forms (Sooners and Dawgs never go to the Supreme Court) if games were based on real demand.

By obsession you mean the hundreds of Texas fans that are on here because they hate Aggie?

Made up rivalry for the younger set. Nobody gave 2 poops about the Line Beards till John Y Brown got involved

Not historically, worst thing the Bumbles did was to bolt for the ACC after Dodds got pissed at the Bear.

The answer is no, they wouldn’t be, and it’s absolutely crazy to me how misguided the voters are.

You need to accept the truth.

You make aggy look bad. The entire time on here. I think you are actually a LSU or Texas troll.

Austin is the largest market without a pro sports team.
That is how much power UT has.
Not just talking about the entire state but just the Austin metro area.

Of course they would. They've been "back" just about every season for the last 5 years.

Do you realize that Austin just grew into that recently? Austin has never been big enough to have a major sports team. If you don’t know that then you have no idea what the population trends have been in Texas. Austin is only, just now marginally becoming large enough where a major sports team could even come close to being successful. Even then with the competition in Dallas and Houston it would probably be a very poor investment for any major sports team. It’s a good situation for the horn’s. But even with that they still have huge issues with stadium attendance and regularly have a half empty stadium despite ticket giveaways.

Really wanted this team in San Antonio.

You are trying to change the facts.
The facts are that UT is the #1 open market in probably the most important state for college sports
Texas hasn't turned like California quite yet. They still care about college sports and outsiders become Texans.

You do realize that A&M has higher TV ratings in Austin for football games than the tea sips?
