Lots of scenarios to be settled this weekend, but one thing’s for damn sure, and that is that allbarn ain’t part of the discussion.

Very simple. A Bama win over #1 Georgia NOW, trumps an early season loss to a lesser ranked Texas. This prove Bama is one of the best 4 teams.....And for the record, ALL the highly ranked rivalry games last week were close in final score.
Alabama winning only makes Texas’ win over them look more impressive

Why would alabama deserve to be in over Georgia if they won a close game?
I am so over this debate. I no longer even give a shite. I didn't expect 11 wins this year much less 12 and a shot at the playoffs. I am happy no matter how it plays out.

100%, but I'd be happy with both left out and humiliated

Big 12 chip was alway the goal. Playoffs would be a bonus.

I have no idea. We’ve seen the #1 team lose games many times before and only drop to #4 or #5. UGA is the two time defending champ. There is zero reason to drop them from the top 4 even if they lose. Assuming said loss isn’t by three TD.
And there is very little justification to jump from #8 all the way to #4 simply because you beat the #1 team. You’d also need the help of other teams ahead of you losing.

the numbers are there to sneak Bama past Oregon. the reality of that scenario just had not sunk in yet to the media. the media is pushing big time for Oregon and Nix.

Hypothetically, if Bama does get left out, will this help you cope with Auburn’s disastrous season and disappointment of first year coach and Auburn savior Hugh Freeze?

we all know that Bama is not beating Georgia, so that ends that discussion.

Did you really though? You count that as a win?

They do

Texas and Alabama both should be in over Oregon if all 3 win. Oregons schedule is a joke.

In American football, the team that scores more points wins. Might be an important thing for LSU to remember.

You sound new to football. Well known for a decade that end of year games carry a lot more weight than early season games.

Because the 2nd best team in the Big 12 lost to South Alabama by 26, UCF by 42, and beat Central Arkansas by a mere 14
It’s a trash league that is one Texas away from being the Sunbelt

Texas deserves to rank ahead of Alabama today. Some teams have games to play, it'll all shake out in the end.

lol not buying it.... only one problem with your Bama math is
YOU LOST TO THE TEAM YOUR COMPARING BY 10 POINTS AT HOME! TARD!

Alabama would have a better collection of wins against a better overall schedule. And they'd have a conference championship whereas Georgia would not.
We're literally comparing Georgia and Alabama...."tard"
