Lane is going to spend 3 years in Oxford, make an SEC championship game, then replace Saban.

You think Saban will still coach past 70? Serious question, cant say its absolutely not happening but you gotta cut down on the little Debbie's at some point in age.

Lol huh? Just because you claim three doesn't make it true dude. Anyway, even if those were legitimate titles and not some Bs poll, army and yale used to win a shite ton of national titles back in the day. What does that have to do with today? LSU could be chicken shite like ole miss and claim at least 2 more football national titles, but we don't.

Here, let's just compare the LSU program to ole miss'

LINK

Also, LSU will continue to win championships, ole miss will not. We are playing in Atlanta for the sec title, something ole miss has never done since it began...even state made it there once ffs. Ole miss is a joke. You hang banners and claim bogus shite like "2003 sec west champions" when I'm pretty sure LSU was the team that won the west and played and won the sec title in ATL and the natty that season while besting ole miss head up in Oxford lol. Your program is a joke dude.

Our fans suck. Trying to downplay this. We’re screwed. We are stuck with a legitimate idiot while Ole Miss just made an extremely good hire. We should keep our damn mouth shut till our administration, cigar boys, and other ilk decide to grow a pair and compete. We will not win an Egg Bowl for the foreseeable future. It was already hazy but if Ole Miss hires Kiffin you can bet it will be crystal clear, we are about to get left behind.

Yeah, you guys are f*cked if Kiffin is going to Ole Piss. I hate to tell you this but y’alls run of being equal to Ole Piss is over! Y’all are going back to the lil bro gettin bitch slapped all the time.

The only good news for Moo St if the Kiffin rumor is true, is that If Kiffin is successful he won’t be there more than 4 years. But it will be four years of pure hell that is for damn sure lol.

Fun fact: ole miss and LSU have the same number of football championships. Lolz

Nope. Ole miss has zero national championships.

You have some that some random magazine handed out in the 50s or some dumb shite like that but that really doesn’t mean shite.

quote:

The years of those titles, since they're not indicated in this graphic, were the ones claimed by John Vaught's 1959, 1960, and 1962 teams. Those titles were far from unanimous, with five teams also having the right to claim shares of that 1960 title. According to Wikipedia's collected data, Ole Miss was awarded its national titles by Clyde Berryman, the Dunkel System, and Jeff Sagarin (1959); the Billingsley Report, the College Football Researchers Association, Harry DeVold, Dunkel again, the Football Writers Association of America, the National Championship Foundation (which appears similar to the Researchers Association), and something called the Williamson System (1960); and Billingsley again, something called Litkenhous that appears to be affiliated with the Louisville Courier-Journal and is often used for high school football, and Sagarin again (1962).

So yeah... not real championships but I bet y’all got banners.

He's got a couple more years in him. I think he wants to go out on top, so he'll go until he wins a natty or the wheels come off.

Kiffin will have all the success as an SEC head coach that he has had in the past, all the success that Ole Miss has grown to expect in their long, storied history.

They have a shite-ton of banners. They even have an SEC West Champion banner. No trophy, mind you. Just a banner.

It's what they do best.

Not sold on the Lane Kiffin hire. He’s not done well as a HC on the higher levels. I wish him well...hope he has grown as a person at FAU and can now better manage all aspects of the HC position

Even Nick Saban couldn’t win at Ole Piss. No worries at all. It’s ole piss. Even State owns ole piss.

Everyone crowing about Lane Kiffin is ignoring history. His tenure at Ole Miss will end in spectacular, derp-style fashion, just like all of his other P-5 coaching tenures did.

It's gonna be a slow-moving train wreck. And it's exactly what Ole Miss deserves.

Yeah, State has won 7 of the last 11 Egg Bowls (OM winning only 2 of the last 9 Egg Bowls when excluding OM vacated wins), but OM is going to win them all from here on out.

Neither team will likely ever again leave the other behind. Neither team has separated from the other for very long ever since Sherrill came to State in 1991. OM didn't leave State behind when they had Eli and State went 2-10. State didn't when they won 9 games and OM went on a 14-game SEC losing streak.

I can damn tell you that LANE KIFFIN isn't going to be the one that separates OM from State.
