If not named the starter he will be entering the transfer portal ASAP.

Who needs a QB? Auburn? Arkansas?

He was never SEC starter material even though LSU fans assured us he was

Is this just speculation or is there word from Baton Rouge that Brennan is thinking of transfering?

Speculation but it has substance. Looking more and more like Max wins the job

Will he get to keep his preseason Heisman from last year?

Personally, don't see MB transferring.

Finley probably will though

How do you possibly know he was never SSEC level starter?

On the other hand, in the few games he started he proved he IS SEC LEVEL or at least has the potential to be. Your LSU hate or is it envy? Or jealousy? Is overwhelming.

His last season of eligibilty. He wont spend it as a 2nd stringer. He's gone if not named the starter.

Makes sense, I thought he played great last year when given the opportunity

Substance? From where? Seem like it will be a fall battle, I like Max over Brennan because of the upside. Just from reading and looking at LSU’S Spring game I would be hesitant to name a starter right now.

If you are Brennan you aren't waiting until the fall to learn your fate. If the coaching staff can't commit to you now, then you transfer to a program that will, early enough to learn their system. He'll have plenty of suitors.

You could quote 10 pages of posts from LSU fans last year telling us he was going to tear it up and posting preseason Heisman odds

He's a 5th year Senior. Last season dude. He's playing it as a starting QB somewhere.
