I don't have a problem with Missouri in the SEC but if they did leave it would be better for college football as a whole for them to return to the Big 12 conference. Ideally Missouri would be replaced by a team on the East coast that would fill the void in the East division. A team in NC or Virginia would be better in terms of TV markets but I wouldn't have a problem with a team in Florida like UCF or even GT.

About a post that's obvious fiction?

Mizzou ain't going anywhere and the penalties to do so are probably way too expensive to even think about it.

There’s not any penalties, I don’t believe.

I would vote for Clemson, but they are too scared to come play in the big boys yard. They like the puff cake league of the ACC.

There are no penalties for leaving the SEC. All schools stay in the conference because they want to be in the league.

Please return all SEC uniform patches and associated conference signage in the condition that you received them. Damaged, lost, or misplaced items will be deducted from your membership deposit.

Thank you.

If we do leave maybe it will be to a conference where opposing fans don't worry about " whut dey brung ta da taaable".

Didn't the BIG 12 begin by the BIG 8 and the ole Southwest Conferences combining when the SouthWest imploded from scandal?

It was a combo of the SWC being too regional and tearing itself apart with scandals as well as the SEC expanding and giving Arky a fresh start which then triggered the combining of the the Big 8 and 4 TX schools but only after TX politics denied A&M and Texas from joining other conferences.

Just like the Mizzou poster commented, A&M didn't belong in the Big 12 either and found its home in the SEC, albeit 20 years later. The Big 12 was an interesting experiment for a while, but both schools/programs lost some of their identity and were marginalized to a considerable detriment when it happened.

Correct answer

Hopefully in a generation Mizzou will have some success and get more fans besides just pro baseball fanes. Tigers have some good core fans, they just need more of them. In the meantime we will just have to live with the poop swasticas and rainbow players.

50 dollars to join

0 dollars to leave

Only power conference out there with no exit penalties which just goes to show how stout the league is.
