If that were the case, we could see a possible SEC smackdown on Ohio State

Auburn is the perfect place for him. I mean, they have a lot of experience with thieving quarterbacks, why not take on a rapist?
Is this where I'm supposed to offended?

FSU isn't losing. All they have left that could even put up a fight is Duke. You heard me right. Duke.

Yes b/c fighting and raping some chick are equivalent

Well in Hill's case, he did both. Not a great comeback.

There is clearly foul play involved in this case.
But come on man, you've never just pushed em to the side before?

If he is charged with a felony, even if FSU wanted him to play.
I'm sure his bond agreement would not allow him to leave/play outside the state of Florida.
A Judge probably wouldn't allow it either.

Is it possible the detective's statement to her was more of a helpful, "Just know what you're getting yourself into" than an attempt to get her to drop the case? Because I can see after the media goes after her (which they will), she and her family/friends/lawyers complain, "But no one at TPD warned us all this would happen to her!"

Which is why they didn't follow up with the roommate or collect DNA when she was at the hospital. They were just trying to protect her

Rape isn't a federal offense...its a state offense unless the rape occurred while on federal property (military base etc etc)or victim was federal employee doing their duties.
If charged and convicted of a rape that transpired in college student setting and no physical injuries took place...star athlete on football team etc etc Winston would get almost no jail time...but probably screwed himself up for life. Can you say Jacksonville State?

Man, what a messed up situation.....
Knowing how the media can be I'm going to hold off with final judgements for now. But from the little I know, it sure seems like Universty well-being was put forth before this girls well-being. Sorta like Penn St football was put before right & wrong when important/moral decision needed to be made. The way the investigation was handled by Tallahassee police at 1st really puts a bad vibe on things. How could the police not at least question Winston or go to FSU after the girl went throuh the uncomfortable process of a rape test. That alone needs answering.....
I like this Winston kid and if he's innocent. I hope he gets through this, but if he did it. He'll deserves all the bad that comes his way....

This. She went to the cops pretty much right after it happened. That doesn't sound like morning after regret.
