Gameday would have made the trip when Alabama played at U of Mexico at Aztec Stadium with the bobwire fence.

Well Texas is stepping up and trying to defend our southern border while our federal govt does nothing.

Ok, guess we can take back all the F22 Raptors and F35 Lightnings since the rest of you think everything from Texas sucks.

A great number of Kentuckians, North Carolinians, and Pennsylvanians fought at the Alamo. Often forgotten when people talk about Tennessee and their significant role in the battle.

I think Texas should pay us Death royalties for our beloved Volunteers and Davy Crocket. They all died .
But in the end Texas was reborn and now one of the richest states in the Union.
Texas GDP is unreal

Both Carolinas were well represented amongst the defenders. Tennessee earned that nickname. We are grateful for every man that fought there, at Goliad, San Jacinto and elsewhere. You can sort the attached by state/nation of origin. Important note is the number of Hispanic names on this list. Native born Tejanos were also fighting for Liberty against Santa Anna’s tyranny.

TBH no USA without the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
New England professors wrote the history of the revolutionary war, but it was the backwoods people of those states that opened up a great big can of whipass and won it.

If you’re only picking 3 it’s Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. And the biggest contributors from Virginia weren’t backwoods mountain men.

Davy Crockett “volunteered” to surrender.
