He has been making adjustments. Mizzou didn't have the roster to be competitive in the SEC. Slowly he is getting better. NIL and the transfer rule change is helping Missouri big time. Give Drinkwitz time to make adjustments. Mizzou isn't a top football program. Same could be said about Missouri basketball program.

Drink ain’t leavin’ for Florida. Book it. It’s 2025 and we’re deep in the NIL era. He can win at Mizzou as easily as he can win at Florida, but with lower expectations, nicer fans, and fewer jorts.

Drink might notice that he just lost one sure win with the 9 game schedule. A schedule that probably gets harder than what they’ve played the last two years. Might be a good time to jump

For all of the built in advantages, UF has went through 4 HCs since Missouri joined the SEC. They fired Mullen for going 21-13 in conference play and Napier is trending in the wrong direction. Taking on a complete rebuild at the same time the conference schedule goes to 9 games just to be compared to the Head Ball Coach and Durty Urban doesn't make the job very attractive IMO.
Veach continually ups EDs pay, ups the assistant pool, makes facilities improvements and he has an advantageous NIL program. He is recruiting at an unprecedented level for the program and gets difference makers through the portal. He has put together the most underrated staff in CFB IMO and they are on the verge of breaking through the ceiling that was just out of reach for Pinkel and his staff. Im not one to say never but I dont think he gives up the culture he has built in Columbia.

Drink would take the Florida job in a heartbeat. He's always wanted to coach in the SEC.
