Ya'll neeeded to convert a 4th and 31 against a bad Auburn team.
Why should we believe Bama is a lock to beat a team with FSU's defense?
No undefeated SEC team would have been left out due to qb injuries.
ACC was 6-4 against SEC this year and FSU had 2 wins over SEC teams including a bigger win over LSU than Alabama.

Oregon was favored over Washington in the Pac 12 championship. Therefore Oregon should have gotten Washington's playoff spot.
ETA I think Bama would roll FSU, but the above is why you actually need to play the games.
