generational college QB
Calling Michael Penix "generational" is a sign the term is entirely overused. Was he even a top 20 college QB of his generation?

Who would ya’ll get that’s better? Deboer is more accomplished than the vast majority of coaches… Bama fans are so spoiled that they want to chase off a coach that won 10 games and made the playoffs. Just crazy

But watching the developments, there's a complete shite show going on in Michigan, and I can't see Deboer stepping into THAT.
There's no shite show going on at Michigan. The fired coach had an affair and did some other stupid shite after being fired. There are no scholarship limitations, rich boosters, and you just signed a good recruiting class. Don't let these media people have you thinking Michigan is a shite show b/c the former head coach was having an affair.
There's at least more than one or two people not doing Michigan proud apparently

Michigan has had 11 staffers either arrested (7) or banned from the sport for rules violations (4) since Jim Harbaugh arrived.

I'll say it again, the SECCG was what 21-0 was to Les Miles. I just don't see how he comes back from that, just like Miles never did. And he doesn't have the hardware that Miles did when it happened.
As for who Bama could get...no clue. DeBoer seemed like the best candidate at the time. The next hire is probably going to be very underwhelming, a Bill Curry type.

How do you spell "wishful thinking"?

Let’s see what happens the next few weeks. This certainly is a Jekyll and Hyde team.
I do honestly scratch my head yelling at the tv “why the hell did you call that play” or “ who the hell taught these kids to tackle”, or “ DeBoer, how about getting in a coach or players face and ripping them a new one”
I know I know, I got accustomed to Coach Saban’s style. DeBoer seems opposite, but I did see him lose his composure with a call in the Georgia game. I was like, yea Coach is showing some fire.
I believe whether in Football, normal work life we tend to mimic our superiors.
I hope DeBoer works out but honestly it might be smart for him to get another job at a school who won’t be as intense as Bama.

I’ll take a couple of bad years to get the right person.
We have some exceptionally stupid suggestions and yours might just be the cake topper.
