Right. That's why you brought it up.

We scheduled Oklahoma but the sec made us cancel it bc they’re just protecting the flagship program of the conference. You know they did the same with bama back when it was the premiere program in the league.

Knowing what we know now they deprived us of a likely great matchup game. At that time (2nd game of year) no one nationally would have given OU a chance after 6-7 from prior year.

I do hope we can meet in playoffs.

And we have Bama next year as well.

Nah y’all are still more battle tested than Georgia and now y’all will not take the LSU game lightly . You win out beat Georgia you’re in the playoffs . Strength of schedule will come into play .

It doesn't matter who you play if you are good enough. Bama would be undefeated but sooner or later you have to play the best and you get exposed.

My hot take is Alabama was better off losing and learning some things. It probably helped prepare them for Ole Miss and avoid calling passing offense that is exceedingly risky for Milroe given his limitations.

Alabama’s staff needed to see Milroe fail against a good opponent to reduce what they do underneath and maximize his strengths.

Speak for yourself. I grew up broke as a joke. Having snacks just, like, available all Advent is still one of my favorite memories of the Holiday.

Texas is a cupcake. They just lost to blowU, how much worse can they be?

If there's any justice in the universe, there'll be a UGA vs OU CFP semifinal game. It's the only way to get the boo-birds in the peanut gallery to STFU, since the SEC took that game off of Week 2.

And that game would have been the same day as Bama/tx game.

If Alabama had taken care of business and won that game, Texas would currently have fewer wins than Rutgers.
What a juggernaut!

There are literally two teams in the SEC that have a better record than Rutgers.

I don't think this hit quite like you think it did.

Imagine losing to Texas, at home. So embarrassing.

Saban will retire, several years too late, once LSU ends his playoff hopes for the 3rd time in 4 years.

How bad does it eat you up to know LSU’s starting QB is black?

Georgia got lucky but it wasn't on Kirby. They had OU scheduled. I can't be mad at UGA for their trash OOC schedule because it really isn't their fault.

...but Michigan. Frick Michigan. Absolute joke. Why schedule a tough OOC game when it does nothing for you? There's zero reward. We should just schedule teams like Rutgers and Indiana as our OOC game. Rival fans would cry over it but who gives a rip? The committee certainly won't. They only look at records.

There are 5 teams in the SEC with a better record than Rutgers. But I wouldn't expect a Texas noob to know how to count.

Ooff struck a nerve I see. I guess I missed the second Rutgers loss.

Still, kind of odd that you're saying Texas is worse than Rutgers, while pimping that Alabama has a better record than them, despite Alabama losing to Texas at home

But what would a Texas grad know? I must've forgot that the SEC is practically the Ivy League in comparison

Why are you melting? I simply stated a fact that 5 SEC teams have a better record than Rutgers. Your response is to compare the SEC to the Ivy League?
