If Bama gets shut out in this game I think the committee puts Texas in over Bama

Bama’s bad loss is worse and conference championships will be phased out soon in favor of “play in” games so the idea that you “have to” put in the loser of the SECCG I think will not be shared by the committee. I think Bama is in real trouble here. FSU loss is looming large.

I don’t think either team gets in over Miami and BYU.

Texas has arch and the mannings will buy their project his way in.

Texas played about as bad of a game they have all season in Athens, on both sides of the ball. Drops, coverage busts, procedural penalties, etc. it was still a four point game prior to the double fourth down drive by UGA followed by the onside kick.

Bama was the only team that could have. This game today means that isn't happening.

There is literally no way for Texas to get in. They are not even in the equation.

Bama could lose 50-0 and the committee would still put them in.

Byu isn't beating anybody.

Miami could actually beat someone.

I don't think Oklahoma is that good either.

This man is familiar with History.

It all depends on the year. The wait until the end then they change the rules to fit the teams they love.

One year it is “What is your best win?”

Next year it is “When did you lose?”

Next year it is “What is your worst loss?”

Next year it is “How many wins and losses?”

They take the angle that fits their agenda. That is why there has never been a legitimate National Champion in football.

Claim your titles gents (like Auburn did).

It’s all a pageant anyway.
