@Dawgslife first of all hey friend! and Auburn fans can't be broken over the SECCG if we are use to playing in it!

And hello to you, too!

It's not the amount you play in it, it's the results that break a team. Auburn has done well 2 out of the last 3 times you've played in it, but honestly, some of the Auburn fans are not handling this last one very well.

It's situational

If UGA wins the East at like 9-3 then I'm definitely going for UGA

But I've adjusted to life with Bama kicking the shite out of everyone, so I'll probably be pulling against UGA if there are title implications for the foreseeable future

we gotta keep some sense of order up in hea

Thanks for the example. You seem to have had your feelings hurt. Remember this is a message board where zealots live - pulling up an old thread after a game won't prove anything. I'm sure AU fans and others thought the same as I that another UA ring wouldn't be a big deal. On the other hand, I would think UG getting that monkey off of your back would most certainly make recruiting more difficult...more so than it is currently.

But this says volumes and makes our point. Most people would root for their "biggest rival" to lose.

I just can't agree with you on this
I am around Auburn fans 24/7 and all's they can talk about is the Washington game?
It's like the game was irrelevant to us or something.

Maybe to those folks, UG is their biggest rival

It's difficult either way having to pick between a shite sandwich and AIDS

Georgia. Bama has way too many t-shirt fans who never went to school in Tuscaloosa or anywhere else.
Many might buy Georgia t-shirts if they take over.

I figure if UGA played our schedule this year, UGA would be looking at 5 losses.

At least 4. At bama, at MSU, at AU and neutral opener vs Washington.

Then probably split vs AtM and LSU.

Yeah, UGA would lose 5 this year playing our schedule.

You know UGA beat MSU 31-3 last year right?

His take is dumb

That said, the prospects of UGA losing 3-4 when replacing a lot of starters would go significantly up if they were playing Auburn's schedule. That doesn't mean they'd actually lose that many, but I think they'd have several more dogfights to win

No use having the board if we agreed on everything.

It's like the game was irrelevant to us or something.

It's only on here some of them act like the game broke them. it's good for the fans to move on and concentrate on the game in front of their team. It doesn't do any good to dwell on what happened in the past.

That's fair and I think accurate. Not saying it would happen, but certainly the odds would go up. I mean, anybody that wants to argue our schedule is tough this year is wrong. Auburn plays a tough schedule every year....or at the very least almost every year.

Everybody? What are you talking about? The RB out of the backfield was going to get to the 25 before even having to make a move if it's thrown to him. The slot WR on right side was open at his break for about 15. heck, even a well thrown ball to the sidelines connects with 82. watch it again.

What? I don't care if anyone from AU rooted for UGA aND
I wouldn't expect it nor would I expect them to root/dick ride Bama (which many clearly did)

But I clearly can't picture anyone from OSU/UM,FSU/UF,OU/TEXAS or UGA/GT rooting for each other
to win a NC...it's pretty unique to AU and honestly shouldn't be called a top 5 rivalry.

Are you saying Bama's dominance hasn't hurt you in-state?

With or w/out a NC it looks like we're gonna have the best back to back recruiting seasons we've ever had and
I'm sure we also pulled some in state (Ga) talent away from AU.
