Do you honestly think that Prime will deal with all the AU boosters? I don't think Prime or any well-known coach would want to deal with them.

Prime would slay it on the recruiting trail. His relationship with Saban is good which would make the rivalry less intense. He would need to hire a good staff and be the figurehead. But it could be a game changer.

Auburn would be on probation in two years! Going from pros and all the money laying around it would be hard for him to know where the NCAA lines in the sand are

The entire NCAA is buried in the sand.

If Jimbo would just get out of the way, they would win. Prime isn't calling plays where ever he goes.

Sounds just like the talking points for Bama in 2006… You guys have really forgotten how terrible your boosters are. You’ll be reminded in a few years after Saban hangs it up.

Hell NO!

Deion would bring some hard, unfiltered truth to Auburn. He wouldn't bend to those old cracker puppet masters working behind the scenes using their multi-million$ as leverage to get what they want.

Deion is exactly what Auburn needs right now though. They need energy, charisma, and a super star marketeer that's a high-level competitor to bring that Brand into the headlines in a positive way for a change.

All politics aside that's just factual and the guy is undeniably an amazing marketer.

we agree absolutely.

sanders knows very well the step up in competition he would be taking. he will actually have to be a coach.

also, will he have any blow back for leaving a historically black university??

I hope Auburn doesn't hire him. I can't stand his constant self-promotion. It doesn't belong in this hallowed conference.

And he has any success, he'll be at FSU within 3 years.

That's ok. Prime would sign top recruits and hurt Bama/UGA in the process We could then sign a new guy after three years... maybe Kiffin.

Deion Sanders 1 hour from the Atlanta burbs? Some of you really don't realize how much NFL talent surrounds Auburns campus.

Maybe not, but I do realize how many cows surround the barn campus.

And some of you haven't watched the complete meltdown at Texas A&M. This isn't basketball - where a non-coach like John Calipari can win as long as he gets enough athletes.

This is football. Where it'll all fall apart if you don't have organization. Systems must be in place to manage over eighty ego-maniac 18-22 year olds. The more talent, the more egos to manage.

I hope Sanders gets a Power Five job. Just so he can fail, gloriously in a manner that will be observable from space, and then maybe everybody will shut up about him. If the failure is at Auburn ? Even better.
