If Auburn had played Florida's schedule so far, what would the sentiment be?

UMass, Kentucky, North Texas.

Probably would be 3-0. Would the fans have visions of championships? Would Gus already have a contract extension?
Seriously, how good would Auburn fans feel?

Also, as a tidbit, this is one reason I'm not sure that Florida will do anything against the Vols this weekend, since we just don't know how good they really are.

ETA: what, not hat (why don't these words rhyme?)

Considering they thought they were going to run A&M out of the stadium based on a close loss to Clemson and beating the crap out of Ark st. They'd probably think they were a top team in the SEC

Didn't see one post pursuant to this. If it makes you feel better, feel free to rationalize that this is what happened, but it didn't.

If you were serious, you wouldn't have added that.

I'd be very surprised if any Auburn fan predicted this, even for the Arkansas State game. Sounds like you got trolled.

I thought during Gene Chizik's fall from the national championship in 11 or 12, he was given a contract extension midseason. Perhaps not?

Certainly not in 2012. I think it was after the 2010 season but no clue. Extensions are pretty common to keep the contract at 5 years for recruiting purposes.
But there's no argument that his contract was handled poorly. That's one reason 99% of the fanbase wants our AD replaced.

Auburn would likely be undefeated after playing such terrible opponents, but I would still not feel very good until they played a tougher opponent.

The perception of Gus Malzahn's job being safe(r) would be there, though...

Sean White would be established at QB and Jay Jacobs would have ordered another fricking mega TV for the north end zone.
