It depends on whether or not Bama is #2 in the Wolfe poll, which no one really knows for sure

Yes, if bama is 2 in the harris they are in no matter what.
There is even a margin where they can be 3 in the harris and still go depending on where the computer polls lie.

According to Edwards, if Alabama is 2 in the Wolfe and the Sagarin computers, Okie St will have to jump Bama in the Harris Poll to jump them in the BCS.

I thought the wolfe poll almost takes Alabama over the top no? As in makes it REALLY hard for OSU to have a chance.

If the Harris also has them at 2, it doesn't matter where the computers are.
No computer is going to push OSU to 1, or Bama to 4 to make up the difference in the people polls.

I think if Wolfe has Alabama #2, then OSU can actually be 5 or so points ahead of Bama in the Harris poll.

If it has Bama at #2 as rumored. If it has OSU at #2 as people projected prior to today then they would only need to do marginally better in the Harris than they did in the coaches, which doesn't seem like much of a stretch.

With the way the numbers are leveling out, Bama should be good to go.
However, we obviously have know way of knowing with 100% certainty as ESPN has undoubtedly paid some of these polls out the arse to allow them to cover it first. Basically, so they can get the most out of the show tonight
